Three simple steps
Tell us about your rug
Share its size, origin if known, condition, and any repairs. Photographs help us begin the conversation. You can email them to newportrugs@gmail.com.
We see the rug
Each rug is considered individually. We arrange a time to see it and explain the proposed consignment terms.
We pick it up
If you decide to proceed, we pick up the rug. Nothing moves forward until you decide.
- The whole rug, laid flat, photographed from above if you can.
- The back of the rug, which shows the knotting and construction.
- Close-ups of the pile, fringe, edges, and any labels.
- Any wear, stains, or repairs, so we can see the condition clearly.
- The size and anything you know about where it came from.
Does your rug need cleaning or repair first? Ask us whether cleaning or repair makes sense before it is offered for sale.
